Re-Charge is Race to Grace’s transition and discipleship program — helping young adults (especially Transition Age Youth / aged-out foster youth) and at-risk individuals reconnect with community, build meaningful skills, deepen their faith, and pour back into others through service.
Through mentorship, hands-on experiences with the Wilderness Wagon and events, retreats, and grace-centered biblical encouragement, participants move from disconnection to fully charged lives — spiritually, emotionally, and practically.
Who This Is For: Primarily young adults 18–21+ transitioning from foster care or facing other life challenges, as well as youth completing community service hours. We welcome referrals from rehab/recovery, probation, churches, and families.

The Growth Circuit
- Plug In – Apply and make your first connection. Meet your mentor, step into community, and commit to growth.
- Power Up – Develop practical skills (vehicle/electrical work, fabrication, graphic design, event support), deepen faith through Bible study and prayer, and build leadership.
- Pour Out – Serve at Race to Grace events (Wilderness Wagon ice cream outreach, car shows, community gatherings), mentor others, share your story, and leave a legacy of grace through faith in action.
Program Highlights
Hands-On Service & Skills
Gain real-world experience setting up, maintaining and fabricating the Wilderness Wagon, helping with property projects on our Rancho Cucamonga site, assisting with merch production, and supporting live outreaches. This isn’t theory — it’s transformation through action.
Mentorship & Community
Every participant is paired with a caring mentor who walks alongside them with faith-filled guidance, encouragement, and accountability.
Spiritual Development & Retreats
At the heart is deep connection with Christ through prayer, biblical teaching, and retreats (Grace on the Water at Lake Perris, Grace in Glamis off-road adventures, Grace in the Valley reflection time). Rest, reconnect, and get re-charged by God’s grace.
